How do I add/change payment information connected to my account

Payment information is only required at the point of checkout or when you are setting up an event / joining an event as a stakeholder/event creator. Gighabit does not store any of your payment information, everything is done via the Stripe platform for your protection and ours.

Payment information for ticket buyers

You will only be prompted to add your payment information at the point of checkout. Stripe is a fully integrated payment platform that will securely and anonymously handle your payment data. Gighabit is never in possession of your payment information and therefore it is up to you to contact Stripe should you wish to close your account with them.

It is possible to save your payment information in Stripe to speed up the checkout process at future events, if you no longer wish Stripe to store your payment information or you need to change your payment information you will need to do it via their platform. 

Payment information for Event Organisers 

You will only be required to add your payment information at the point of event creation. Stripe is a fully integrated payment platform that will securely and anonymously handle your payment data. Gighabit is never in possession of your payment information and therefore it is up to you to contact Stripe should you wish to close your account with them or should you wish to change your payment details. 

Gighabit will facilitate the ability to change your payment details via accessing the Organiser Settings Page (the same page that you will use to add your payment details in the first place). This will create a portal to Stripe using their API and allow you to change your details, delete your account, etc. If you have any questions feel free to contact our support team, though we may just refer you to Stripe if it is something that needs to be handled outside of our platform.
